A un Nuovo Anno di Pace e Unità, con Erasmus+…
In relazione all’Intervento CUP B56E23004900006, finanziato con il decreto del Ministro dell’Istruzione e del Merito del 3 aprile 2023 n. 61 per la realizzazione di scambi ed esperienze formative all’estero per studenti e studentesse e per il personale scolastico, attraverso un potenziamento e ampliamento del Programma Erasmus+ 2021-2027, nell’ambito della Missione 4 – Componente 1 – Investimento 3.1 “Nuove competenze e nuovi linguaggi” del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), finanziato dall’Unione Europea – Next Generation (Codice/i del/i progetto/i: PNRR_2023-1-IT02-KA121-SCH-000125846 PNRR_2024-1-IT02-KA121-SCH-000201184) -, la nostra scuola ha beneficiato in modo straordinario di un finanziamento per realizzare una mobilità di gruppo destinata alla visita delle sedi delle Istituzioni dell’Unione Europea dal 15 al 18 dicembre 2025.
Tenuto conto delle progettazioni di Classe e di Dipartimento, dei criteri esplicitati nel Programma Erasmus+ di inclusione e valorizzazione del merito, degli obiettivi della mobilità rivolta a studentesse e studenti del secondo e terzo anno di corso dei Licei Linguistico, delle Scienze Umane e Economico Sociale, sono state individuate alcune classi per effettuare una mobilità di gruppo che ha portato a Bruxelles 75 studentesse e studenti, con collegamento a una scuola europea partner.
Il Programma Erasmus+ straordinario ha finanziato il viaggio in aereo di andata e ritorno, il transfer a Bruxelles dall’aeroporto all’albergo e ritorno, il soggiorno a mezza pensione con colazione e cena, attività e visite culturali.
Il programma del viaggio è stato ricco e intenso, e ha previsto la visita all’Emiciclo con guida, al Parlamentarium, alla Casa della Storia Europea, al Museo Magritte e alla città. Non ultima, è stata effettuata una interessante visita con attività di formazione presso gli Uffici di Collegamento del Friuli Venezia Giulia a Bruxelles: qui, lo sfondo della imponente manifestazione degli Agricoltori in città non ha fermato la delegazione di studentesse e studenti che, al contrario, si è mossa con le loro docenti ed ha potuto così toccare con mano ed essere testimone diretta di come la Democrazia autentica sia viva e attiva nella nostra Unione Europea!
La testimonianza di Alice, studentessa della Classe 2B del Liceo Linguistico – sezione Galileo – è solo una delle tante voci che seguiranno e che saranno allegate al presente articolo come prezioso follow-up della bellissima, intensa esperienza che Erasmus+ ci ha permesso di vivere e che proseguirà con il Nuovo Anno: un Nuovo Anno di Pace, collaborazione e condivisione, che ci auguriamo foriero di passione sempre più attiva e propositiva, e mirata a sostenere iniziative educative/formative per giovani generazioni di Cittadini e Cittadine planetarie consapevoli…

Gino Cormons e alla dott.ssa Annamaria Cosattini, agli stagisti Emanuele Castelli e Micol Mercato dell’Ufficio di Collegamento FVF a Bruxelles; e grazie ad Alice e a tutte le studentesse e agli studenti che hanno vissuto con i/le docenti questa bella esperienza e contribuito a fare di questo viaggio un momento davvero toccante e... ‘trasformativo’!
My trip to Brussels: learning how to be a good European Citizen!
In December 2025, my school participated in an Erasmus+ Project that took some of us, a very big group of students onto a magical trip to Brussels, where we stayed from 15th to 18th December 2025.
The first day we were all excited to start this experience: we left Udine early in the morning, and at around 9 a.m. we arrived at Venice Airport, then we flew to Brussels. It was the very first time for me on a plane, and I felt overwhelmed by new emotions ….
After we left the airport, in Brussels we immediately went to Hotel Meininger, modern and welcoming. At that point, we hadn’t had lunch yet, so our guide took us to the Grand Place where we ate typical fries!
The following day, we visited the European Parliament where a guide explained to us the work of parliamentarians. After that, we went to the House of the History of the European Union and the Parlamentarium where we could do a lot of interactive digital activities.
On the third day, the program was focused on art and debate!
We visited the Magritte museum, first: I really liked it, especially some paintings that were fascinating! In the afternoon, we took part in a “debate experience” that simulated a discussion among members of the European Parliament about an important topic: migration! I gained a lot of experience in writing a speech, and developed skills in finding elements to support my group’s ideas.
On the last day, our teachers took us to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Representative Liaison Office in Bruxelles, where two students, doing an Internship there, explained to us why and how all Italian Regions are involved in the decision making processes of the Parliament. I found it very helpful and intriguing because they also described to us how the Erasmus+ projects work as well as the internships. After that, we went near the Grand Place to visit the Christmas markets: they were really lovely and elegant! In the evening, at around 10 pm, we left Brussels by plane. We arrived in Udine really late, at around 2 am, so we were all exhausted.
I would highly recommend to all students and schools to try the Erasmus+ projects because they are well-structured, and help you gain experience and knowledge and I, personally, had the opportunity to improve a lot my English and French communication skills and understanding. -
